Teaching at Notre Dame

Club president

I teach in both academic and social work settings. At the Unviersity of Notre Dame, I taught upper-level courses in the history of philosophy for students majoring in philosophy and ethics courses for students fulfilling their core curriculum requirements. I also served as a mentor at the Center of Social Concerns and advise students pursuing projects in Africa. In Westville Correctional Facility, I offered study groups and teach rhetoric workshops for adults. In the Juvenile Detention Center, I developed and teach a 4-month learning program for teenagers (ages range from 14-17) on probation. I also have extensive social work experience in orphanages and refugee centers that informs the way I teach. Here you cean learn more about my student evaluations and university courses.

Student evaluations

Composite history student evaluations

My classes consistently earned top scores among students across Notre Dame Campus. The maximum evaluation a class can receive is 5. The yellow balls indicate outreach classes for the core curriculum taken by students who don't major in philosophy. The blue balls indicate upper level classes for students majoring in philosophy.

Sample student evaluation

This is a sample evaluation exemplifying student responses to my classes. This class on Ethics & Religion is an outreach class for students not majoring in philosophy. It has a 90% response rate and several metrics, such as 'Develop Mastery', were 100% rated with the top score meaning that every single student voted with 'Extremely High'.
